Neuropsychological / cognitive assessments are offered for adults and children, as are therapy services where there are concerns with difficulties such as adjustment to disability, and managing additional mental health needs alongside disability. We also offer intervention services for children and their families where there are developmental concerns or ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorders).
Assessment and intervention services are offered to adults struggling with emotional difficulties including anxiety (generalised anxiety, separation anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), specific phobias) and depression, and personality difficulties, adjustment problems, difficulties associated with sexual abuse, loss and separation issues.
Specialist psychological support for athletes of all ages and abilities who may be experiencing common mental health difficulties such as anxiety and low mood and/or challenges that are impacting wellbeing and performance (E.g. coping with pressure, performance anxiety, managing injury, return to competition, loss of confidence, relationship challenges, or the impact of events outside of sport). Support can also be commissioned to include the team around an athlete, including coaches, parents, and support members, acknowledging that those within elite sport are often best supported by those closest to them.
Strengthening the parent-infant relationship to enhance the bond between the parent and the infant where there are problems with attachment and bonding in infancy (e.g., due to reasons associated with pre/post-natal depression, anxiety, loss, parents who feel isolated and overwhelmed by the care of their baby, etc).
Our service may be of help when there are difficulties with behaviour, development, adjustment, attachment/relationship problems, sleeping, feeding, toileting, communication, or emotional difficulties such as childhood trauma, bereavement/loss, low mood, fears and separation anxiety. Our service can offer parenting support, assessment and intervention.
Assessment and intervention can be offered where there are concerns with emotional difficulties including anxiety (generalised anxiety, separation anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), specific phobias) and depression, or difficulties with learning, hyperactivity, attention and concentration difficulties, behavioural difficulties, loss/separation/bereavement issues.
We can offer assessment and intervention where there are concerns with family/relationship problems, difficulties associated with sexual abuse, self-harm, self-esteem, obsessional behaviour, loss/separation/bereavement issues and emotional difficulties such as anxiety (generalised anxiety, separation anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), specific phobias) and depression.
